Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 01, 2010 1:06 pm Hello everyone, I am wondering whether anyone has used Kenbrock Premium Tiles (Vinyl) for the flooring? I can see reviews for Karndean, Polyflor and Amtico but not for Kenbrock. If anyone has used it can you please provide me your feed back like how does it look like. Does it look like real tiles or fake tiles? I went through all the major vinyl tile brands like Karndean, Amtico & Polyflor but I like Kenbrock than others. Any input will be highly appreciated. Many Thanks Nathan Re: Has anyone used KENBROCK TILES ? 2Sep 01, 2010 2:55 pm In the standard qualities a vinyl tile is a vinyl tile, almost anyway I.e the brand isn't a major concern. .3 wear layer, chalk filled, PVC back. Kenbrock have been doing it for a long time. Smaller than many importers but you'll be fine. They aren't the new kids on the block so wouldn't import junk. As far as realism goes, only you can be the judge of that!!! Re: Has anyone used KENBROCK TILES ? 3Feb 06, 2013 3:31 pm I'm also wondering what everyone thinks of Kenbrock vinyl tiles - Harmony or Floorworks range. They seem to be one of the few brands that have Aluminium Oxide in their coatings - which apparently make them tougher/less likely to fade etc. Would like to hear from people who have used them, and what they think. Re: Has anyone used KENBROCK TILES ? 4Mar 08, 2013 10:17 am Hi Nathan, Not sure if you have chosen a floor yet but if you can afford the extra go with Karndean. I went with Kenbrock premium tiles and within a year I had 2mm gaps in the tiles as they had shrunk. I contacted the supplier Blests carpets and manufacturer Kenbrock who in turn blamed each other??? After 4 months of this back and forth blame game I had to get consumer affairs in on it. The issue I was told by the manufacturer was that because we chose not to have grout strips is why we could see gaps??? They then wanted to charge me extra for grout strips. 2 months later they laid a new floor over the existing. The manufacturer insisted that his son do the relaying? Bad move as it was a very poor finish. Now 12 months later I am back in touch with them as the grout strips have expanded and lifted (Bowed up). I am sorry I put it in now. I am now trying to get them back to fix it. Wish me luck and STAY AWAY FROM KENBROCK FLOORING.
