In the front couple of rooms there is an obvious slope from one end of the room to the other, lets say from the front to the back of the room. The slope in one room pretty much begins from the front and is steady until the back of the room. The other room, next to it, also at the front of the house, seems to be more level for half the room, then slopes more dramatically. Now the skirting boards around the room are of equal height all the way around, which makes me think that whoever put the concrete down years and years ago, just botched it. I don't think the house is sinking in the middle, simply because there aren't cracking in the walls and other signs I'd expect to see. What I'm wondering is how would I (or a professional) re-level the floor so I can put down floating floorboards? Chris Howdy all.
