Great idea! I think it'll be much easier to find a rug you like with red/orange/brown tones (OK, hopefully not too much brown!). Those colours would look really nice with the sofa etc.

Not unless you manage to find a painting or cushions or something that tie those colours in. I originally wanted a lime green rug but found it difficult to find the right size & colour for the price - no surprise there Ended up buying this NEW wool rug on ebay . It's neutral ( read 'safe' ).
