It was the perfect size AND COST but the shade was too pale. I actually brought it home to 'try' out & the family concensus was that it looked 'dead' against the floor tiles & furniture. It goes back tomorrow.

Comes in a 3.2x2.3 if by some bizarre chance you like it and it's big enough, Southies. I did consider it, but I haven't found the right size. this one would be too small even if I put 2 together Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Using 2 Smaller Rugs - HERMYLEEN, ARE YOU THERE ??!!!! 70Aug 05, 2010 7:55 am royalblue Southies royalblue So what happened to "BINGO"? I'd like to try to find a different coloured rug 1st, before resorting to that measure. So this is my new strategy New Plan A : try a totally different colour & hit the stores with that in mind. Would really rather see the colour 1st hand. If Plan A is unsuccessful , then New Plan B : take a chance that the colour might not be right & get this one in the 320 x 230 ( though oztion does describe it as lime) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Family room rug - MICHELLE - maybe change of colour ??? 74Aug 05, 2010 9:22 am bel, it seems they only provide a store credit. I don't see a statemtent anywhere that says that full refund is available. Obviously faulty items, no problem but for change of mind ? I doubt it. Though I suspect that'll be even harder to find that just green!! Re: Family room rug - MICHELLE - maybe change of colour ??? 76Aug 05, 2010 10:00 am Ok Southies....we have an amazing rug, it's a loop and cut shagg polyester and acrylic rug with kind of a swirly pattern over it. Mine is in greys and silver and white, but you can get it in browns and taupes, it's a fabulous rug. Anyway, I am thinking if you get a great rug that's not boring in browns you could get some fabulous lime green cushions for your lounge. I have some which I am going to use in the bedroom when I get my new white dooner I can do photos if you need Re: Family room rug - MICHELLE - maybe change of colour ??? 77Aug 05, 2010 10:21 am The cushions Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Have a look at this catalogue, my rug isn't in there...don't know why, but I have a book here and I can scan a photo of it at work for you today and send it if you like http://www.itirugs.com.au/Catalogue/tab ... fault.aspx Re: Family room rug - MICHELLE - maybe change of colour ??? 78Aug 05, 2010 12:07 pm whoa suh, that striped cushion is a stunner !!!! I'm soooo jealous I know the other one.......I have the same style but ivory colour in my lounge I've checked out the rug catalogue suh...........there are so many different styles but did you notiice that the sizes are all around 160 x 230 - way too small Quote: I am thinking if you get a great rug that's not boring in browns you could get some fabulous lime green cushions for your lounge. Suh, our floor is a taupe, so I can't imagine more brown in the room. There is so much already. BTW I have a couple of light lime cushions already - a bit brighter than these pics : Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ No, no .... not necessary to scan the book but thank you for offering . suh, you can see how our lounge is milk chocolate in colour............any suggestions for an alternative colour to a lime green rug ? You seem to have a great eye for colour Maybe a red or orange somewhere in the pattern - not a totally red or orange rug though?
