Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jul 16, 2010 12:24 pm Hey all! Just wondering if anyone has put the Distressed timber floors in from that Carpet place that Suzi Wilks Plugs (starts with an S!)?? I have ordered Moka Distressed timber and were wanting to see how people have found them etc. Any help/pics appreciated! Our home: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=29960 Re: Distressed Timber (Engineered) flooring 2Jul 18, 2010 10:11 am I havent got them in but looked at them also, im still deciding if i want to go floorboards or tiles, so when you get yours in id love to see some pics! Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15908 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6141 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6191 |
