It was built in the mid 50's (as housing for the Melbourne '56 Olympics). Most of the house is in it's orginal condition... there's bits of evidence of normal wear and tear everywhere... EXCEPT... this damage to our bedroom floor. I'm to blame, I was trying to move a big piece of timber furniture across the room myself, and there was a stone stuck underneath which caused this damage!
