Interestingly, I use the same steam cleaning wand as demonstrated, a Titanium 6 jet 2" tube wand from Prochem. So I should get the same results right? ... not necessarily! In real life, there may be substances that with time are much more challenging to extract completely. And then, even if the visual contaminants come out, there may be invisible residues that may keep attracting soil in the future. Examples... possibly if you spill a bottle of olive oil and leave it there for a week, or a bottle of ink. Disperse dyes such as tumerick might also be a bit of a challenge. Even common sugary substances that spill in large volume might be a bit problematic as they oxidise and age. They will clean out, but if sugars and oils have oxidised, slight sticky residues may remain, leading to resoiling. Are these substances or scenarios covered by the warranty Anthony? Again, I'm sure Smartstand has exceptional stain resistance. But customers need to not be overtaken by all the marketing hype about stain resistance, and choose carpets for the overall performance characteristics they provide. Stain resistance is only one part of the equation. Ash.
