Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 May 14, 2010 11:08 am hi everyone, we are currently trying to sort out the aggregates and colour for our flooring. the look we are going for is a darker colour with a white aggregate. So you know on the roads you see the recycled glass (?) and you notice it sparkling on a sunny day. we would also like that sort of look mixed in. Does anyone have any experience with this - what to use etc or know anyone who can do this? The company we are talking to are having trouble getting the samples right and the glass is just comming through. thanks in advance... jason Re: polished concrete with a sparkle 2May 24, 2010 3:35 pm We're getting our flooring done by Homeshield Coatings, we're not getting quite the same as what you're talking about, but we've opted for the "shimmer finish" they offer, which has sort of a metallic finish to it, so if you can imagine it kind of shimmers and glints in the sun too. But its not chunky bits of glitter, if you know what I mean? Not sure if this helps you any. I'm not sure where you are based, but if you're in WA they may be worth chatting to.
