Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Apr 07, 2010 11:53 am Hi Guys, I am building a new home with Henley and was brave enough to decide on getting the flooring done from elsewhere and not from the builder. So for the past few months have been going thru various timber flooring showrooms and am still equally confused. One thing that "we" particularly liked was the coconut timber. I have only seen it in one place and am not sure if this is a common timber in the Aussie market. Has anyone done a coconut timber flooring done ? Any experinces to share ? Any advices. I have been quoted about $10K for 100m2 area. When I looked on Alibaba it only costs US$ 25¬35 to import but then there will be other expenses too. Looking forward to some enlightening comments.
