Hi all - hope some one can provide some advice.
I recently bought a 30 yr old home on a concrete slab. Currently there is lino/vinyl in the kitchen and carpet for the remainder of the house - although apparently the lino/vinyl flooring is all throughout the house under the carpet. I am looking to get armstrong vinyl planks installed throughout kitchen, dining, lounge and hall. However as the house is old there has been movement in the slab and some parts of the floor feels raised slightly - a bit wavy but not dramatic and only in some places.
What are my best inexpensive options for floor prep - the flooring business said they will use a levelling agent before laying the planks.
I would like to hear others opinions - I want the most inexpensive and quickest option.
Hope you can help
