Just the usual light scratches but in some areas it almost looks like the floor has be rubbed with a scourer. We need to sell will we be able to get these boards looking ok again? It is dark timber so very noticable. Could someone point me in the right direction? Re: Fixing scuffed and scratched floating floor 2Feb 24, 2010 9:25 am I would suggest to redo the floor. If its a floating laminate then it would be simple to remove the baseboard, take up the good stuff (keep it organized)until you reach the scratched/damaged boards and replace them, then simply snap together the sheets that you just removed. If the damaged boards are all full pieces and the room is approximately 15'x15' it should take less then an hour to do. $200 Canadian Cash-BACK Mortgage - Visit HERE for promotion coupon and details!
