The light colour doesn't show up dirt or dust or footprints as much as the dark. I like the dark, it's nice and it doesn't make the room look small or cramped, you can just see fluff and dirt more. Will you get big tiles? Re: Pics of dark tiled floors 4Feb 03, 2010 7:19 pm Here is our ensuite! Sorry it's messy-it's prior to the site clean but you can get an idea. I would've posted more photos but they were even messier. We liked it so much we are doing the same colour in a larger tile in our kitchen and using a dark laminate (Jarrah) in the rest of the house. Its making my decision oh-so-much harder!!! I really like the darker colour, but would lighter coloured tiles make it seem more *open* and brighter??? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Re: Pics of dark tiled floors 11Feb 03, 2010 10:10 pm Haven't decided on the wall colours just yet suh I'm a fan of ... ahhhh... spring type colours? Especially that gorgeous green thats around, but i also like deep dark colours too. Its just that the house is so small, that i don't want to have a darker tiled if its going to make it feel even smaller you know? But i still want it to look stylish and nice (and especialy since the place i'm buying hte tiles from is having 60% off, it means i *can* go and get a gorgeous tile that i wouldn't otherwise have been able to afford ) viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread!
