Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 29, 2010 6:55 am My lamminate flooring recently suffered some water damage and from what I have read this damage is irrepreable. Is this true? I have tried to buy some replacement boards but the line that I used has been discontinued. It is the Ikea tundra birch (or Beech) series. Has anyone used this flooring and has some spare boards or knows of any other brands that have similar colouring the will fit in with the existing flooring? Re: Ikea laminate floorinig 2Feb 01, 2010 12:39 pm Laminate flooring will warp if it suffers too much water damage. The flooring is strong moisture resitive, while it is no water resistive. The damage is irrepreable. The laminate flooring board can't be straight ang longer. You can cut and carry the damaged flooring board and choose some other laminate flooring which color is similar with the damaged board.
