Flooring & Floor Covering

We are building with Clarendon at Kellyville in Norwest NSW nearing the completion stage.
I am looking for someone a good tiler or a company to lay porcelain tiles over 80-100sqm. As they are porcelains, we are obviously looking for a picture perfect finish with no lipping, bumping etc...
Can someone amazed with the workmanship/professionalism of your tiler, would recommend us. We do not end up with a novice labourer. What sort of money would it cost per sqm for budgeting purposes. Tiling should start in 3-4 weeks from now, around 3rd week of Feb 2010.
Did you actually sign any agreement with him/them for a refund of laying+tiling cost, if the laying goes ugly. I read someone briefed about it in this forum.
Thanks in advance.

check out Steve79p's blog (you can find it in the blog list - he built with Wisdom homes) - they had a great tiler and have his details somewhere in their thread and on their blog.
After 4 years - we're in!

One of the tilers we use that does work out there is Tony V.....
I have been recommending him for over 12yrs now.
Drop me a line direct and I can pass on his mobile number to you.

Oh no, that's really poor form from Clarendon. It seems a lot of builders pretty much say anything to get you to sign the tender and then add on extra costs later. We…
