Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 20, 2010 7:17 pm Hey there We are in the process of purchasing Spotted gum select 19mm strip flooring for our house. Does anyone know any good outlets that can supply it at a good price. It seems the few we have spoken to all source their timber from Boral or hereferds (or similar) and they just whack a good margin on top. We are in Melbourne. Any info / tips or advice would be greatly appreaciated. chees hunts Re: Timber floor outlets 2Jan 21, 2010 8:55 am Hi Hunts, I am in Melbourne and need to find somewhere too, so will be interested if there are any recommendations from ppl. Also not sure if it will be convenient, but PM me if you think its worth pooling our resources together to see if we can get a good deal from a company. Re: Timber floor outlets 3Jan 21, 2010 9:24 am a v distributiors in susnshine has 19mm select grade spotted gum for something like 65 per square meter. It was a special at the time. The reason why it is cheaper is because they are smaller lengths that normal 19mm. When i looked at the pack the lenghts where similar to what you would expect in overlay board.
