Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Nov 24, 2010 12:18 pm Hi We are looking at laminate floors for a new house. Does anyone have any experience with either Embelton or Krono. Embelton are through a small company and I don't know much about them. We are looking at probably a 12mm board (as the colour we like only comes in a 12mm) and all Embelton laminate floors come with a 25 year warranty. 8mm boards are apparently A3 rated, not sure about the 12mm boards. The other laminate we are looking at is a Kronostep Super Natural Classic 8mm board in either Castle Oak or Shire Oak. This has a 15 year warranty and is through Deco Rug. It is AC4 rated. There is a $15 - $20 difference per square metre in the prices, with the Embelton being cheaper, but I'm not sure of the quality. Thanks Re: Laminate Floor Brands - Embelton & Krono Original 2Dec 09, 2018 2:36 pm cherryb Hi We are looking at laminate floors for a new house.
