Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Timber Flooring on Concrete 55Jun 13, 2010 9:06 am lex know how you feel ,more than the house the floors are doing my head in. I am sticking to parquetry but not sure of the feature. Strip flooring or overlay as they call it have too many questions such as 1.timber floors to tiles height 2.direct stick to slab ? would it last 10 years glued to the floor ,such long boards etc Parquetry can also be laid in a feature called brickbone, which look like stripfloors but in shorter pieces of 260mm. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15923 Sam There is a much stronger glue than liquid nails. It's called T Rex and will stick your timber to the concrete. Cheers Simeon 1 1554 |
