We got a bit concened today when we visited a display home which had some very nice timber abutting tiles in the laundry. There was this very ugly high curved strip of gold coloured metal separating the timber/tiles, as the tiles were obviously a little lower. This was at a SJD home display.
We're building with Burbank and our living/dining is timber and the kitchen is tiles - we have a fair length and a few corners across the face of the kitchen where timber will go against tiles. Thankfully we checked a few Burbank displays for timber abutting tiles and found a few and they were fine - they had a relatively flat and nice looking chrome strip between the two.
But I don't get it - I'm guessing tiles are generally lower than timber and they need a solution to match them together.. but at the burbank display all the tiles seemed pretty much on level with the timber..
We did'nt get any mention of raising the tiles when we did our color selections with Burbank..
