Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 24, 2009 1:57 pm Hi everyone, My partner and I are building a house with RC in tarneit and were thinking of getting bamboo flooring throughout (except wet areas). Does anyone have bamboo floors and what do you think of them? Does anyone know any good suppliers in the hoppers crossing/ werribee area? Thanks in advance, Charlie Re: Bamboo Flooring 2Sep 24, 2009 9:27 pm G'day, we have chosen the Bamboo flooring. We chose it cos it looks great but the other advantage is its hardness. We were worried about putting it in the kitchen, but after finding out it has a hardness of over 14 compared to most other hard wood floors such as black butt which I was told has a rating of approx 8 which also helps if water is spilt. We also have a dog and a cat who like to chase each other around the house. Also better Sorry we live in NSW so can't help out with suppliers.
