Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 02, 2009 8:58 pm i recently went to floor covering store to get a quatation but ended up put down 20% deposit of the total price for timber floor and carpets. at the same day i called to the store and told one of the staff said that i wanted to cancel the project and get the deposit back, so i went there next day, the staff said to me, i cant get the deposit back because the agreement say so but it doesn't mention in the invoce about the refund policy. is anyone here experienced this kind of situation?? regret to pay for the deposit and want to get it back ??? please tell me do i have the right to get the deposit back ??? Re: is anyone here locked up the price for floor covering?? 3Sep 02, 2009 11:24 pm according to the terms and conditions it doesn't really say any about refund, it only stated about site work(lay floor covering) conditions. if you get your floor covering from store, i think you should get similar terms and conditions as mine. got it. thanks.
