But for $100 per square metre, you can buy some fine quality carpets. You do mean square metre don't you? That's equivalent to about $366 per linear metre. Brands to look at would be Cavalier Bremworth, Brintons, Feltex, Tascott. Less expensive carpets, maybe Godfrey Hirst, Beaulieu, Redbook. Its probably better to consider what qualities and characteristics you are looking for in your carpets. Ash. Re: Help Choosing the carpet, where best to buy, what best tobuy 3Aug 19, 2009 7:41 am i meant per linear square, how about underlay, dunlop or brigestone better ? thanks for your help Re: Help Choosing the carpet, where best to buy, what best tobuy 4Aug 20, 2009 1:12 am OK $100 per linear meter doesn't normally buy you much more than average quality carpet. Look at the range of nylon carpets in a low loop or plush or hard twist cut pile. Don't worry much about brands, but go for nylon instead of the polypropylenes the salespersons will show you. Keeping within your budget, go for a thin foam underlay like Springtred Extra or Excellay from Dunlop. Ash. 1 11004 Thanks for the reply. Had a look at the suggested lot and found other problem on easement, which i will asked in separate thread. 2 17545 Looking at some of the designs on websites, they are all selling very similar products. I get that you want something stylish. It's worth looking for search terms like SaveH2O… 2 7006 |
