White or Off White? 8Aug 19, 2009 10:05 am Hi Casa Yes true unlike polished porcelain the matt/natural variant does not have the pinholes/pores that are exposed when the tile is cut back an polished. But due to the fact the tile has no glaze it tends to have a dryer(by feel) surface. This makes the surface harder to clean and grit tends to stick to it more. For practicality of cleaning a glazed material (glazed doesnt mean shinny)is always better. Also if you are using a solid light colour on the floor like that think of going for something with a little movement through it - tends to hide a lot more. My number one rule with tiles is you want something thats easy to clean - But also something you dont have to clean all the time. Cheers Charlie Thanks splashers, that makes sense.
