Our builder has done it in the past and was willing to do it again but strongly advised against it due to cracking. I also spoke to a few concretors who confirmed that there is no guarantee this won't happen, no matter what you spend. I know that a few weeks ago I went into a brand new store here that had polished concrete floors and immediately noticed a very fine crack. In the states but it explains the more expensive process, rather than the sealant. Also used here by Pro Grind. Interesting. You can make it look like what you want. pros...hardwaring, low maintenace, light reflective. cons...needs to be insulated underneath.
