Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Aug 03, 2009 6:18 pm Hi all, We had beautiful solid blackbutt floorboards laid on the ground floor and garage stairwell area in our townhouse about 5 or so years ago. At the time, we decided to go with a semi gloss finish with an oil rather than a hard (polyurethane?) finish. This was recommended to us by the timber people when we laid them. Now five years later the boards still look beautiful but I would like to now put a hard shiny finish over them, so would like them sanded and polished. Can anyone recommend a good (and fair priced) sander/polisher that services the Sutherland Shire area in Sydney? Many thanks! 2fk CDC Housing Code 3 When to apply Floor Area external face of wall vs Gross Floor Area internal face of wall.
