Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: MasterPlus Timber Floor 3Jul 19, 2009 1:39 pm I haven't used them (yet) but had a chat with 2 of their different franchisees and I felt confident that they weren't BS'ing me (didn't tell either one I had seen anyone else and they said the same sort of stuff). I had also previously spoken to Perfect Timber Floors in South Morang and I felt weirded out by the bloke there - hard sell and a bit sleazy. Masterplus guys seemed knowledgable and professional in their approach to lone female newbie Also have seen Connolys in Gaffney Street - happy with them too but know someone who had their (admittedly beautiful) floors down by them and they were not 100% happy...apparently there were some high spots afterward Re: MasterPlus Timber Floor 5Jul 20, 2009 11:39 am _kelly_ I haven't used them (yet) but had a chat with 2 of their different franchisees and I felt confident that they weren't BS'ing me (didn't tell either one I had seen anyone else and they said the same sort of stuff). We've been around to so many flooring companies and it is so hard to choose from them . We are likely going with Masterplus though because of their 7-Year Warranty Insurance. Re: MasterPlus Timber Floor 6Aug 30, 2009 3:08 am Masterplus Timber Flooring has completed 4 of our family’s homes. All I can say is that they have been very professional and all of the completed floors were fantastic. I have no problem recommending the Masterplus Coburg store. Their pricing is very competitive, their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We have also had other freinds that went with Masterplus and were also very happy. Re: MasterPlus Timber Floor 7Aug 30, 2009 3:16 am By the way they are not contractors for UTF, I know because originaly we were going for floating floors, they said that they only used UTF because it was a quality product, they also said that they distribute products for many major manufactures. All our homes have been done with 14mm product over plywood, we have not had any problems at all. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15886 The most likely cause of your timber swelling (parquetry?) is either a plumbing leak or carelessly leaving water on floors after use or both. Without seeing, i am ignoring… 1 3271 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7258 |
