We got the same tiles throughout the living area and wet areas. They are a dark grey/brown colour and a matt finish (no flecks or other colours mixed in). They show up every bit of food, dust and hair and every single footprint or handprint (handprints from small babes playing on the floor!) (from the natural oils from the skin). It could quite possibly just be sheer bad luck on our part; or a normal thing with dark tiles; I don't know. I now wish I'd gone for something a lot lighter; ideally I would have liked floorboards, but we were too tight to spend the money I think because our kitchen cupboards are dark too, this doesn't help!
