Timber Flooring - 3 way bathroom

We are having a 3 way bathroom, - the hand basin is in an open alcove between the loo & the shower/toilet - both these areas will be tiled & have individual doors. But I am not sure about flooring for the open hand basin area - do we just continue with the timber flooring that is to be throughout the rest of the house or have it as a separate tiled area?
Not sure where Hunter Valley is?

These sort of 3 way bathrooms are very common in new houses in SA, ours and all the ones I have seen have the same tiles in bathroom and toilet and also in the vanity area.
I have never seen the vanity area with timber floors or anything other than tiles.
It's up to you.. but usually seen as all tiles..

Do you currently have any pictures of it so far?
no, no pics as yet.
