Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jun 25, 2009 1:54 pm Hi, I'm a new member here. I'm building my new home in Canberra. I need some thoughts on what type of flooring would be suitable for hydronic floor heating. Initially we thought of having tiles for living areas and carpet for bedrooms. While shopping around came across the Karndean OakRoyale range of Vinyl flooring. We liked it very much, but a bit worried whether the hydronic floor heating have any effect on these floors. We meet two dealers and both had different opinions. One of them told for floor heating they use a different kind of glue which will protect the flooring. And the other dealer tells not to go with Vinyl flooring at all in case of floor heating. If any of you used floor heating with vinyl floors could you please share you thoughts? Does anyone have any thoughts, please help. Thanks & Regards, DM got it. thanks.
