Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jun 13, 2009 5:38 pm Despite well meaning people trying to steer me away from polished concrete I am still very keen. I spoke to the builder yesterday about having the floor in my walk-in shower done in polished concrete. He said that may not be possible because you need to have a wet-seal between the shower base and the wall tiles. Can it be done? You also need to make sure that the concretor gets the falls correctly to the drain (personally we prefer the trough drains). I've given the builder your details. If he gives you or Danny a call we should be able to work something out. Brian I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says.
