Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jun 05, 2009 3:28 pm Hi, Im going to get the engineered floorboards in my place The American White Oak. ( cos they look beautiful ) I have had so many quotes all varying dramatically in price. For EXACTLY the same product and EXACTLY the same underlay I have been quoted 15499 installed, $ 7900 installed, $8999 installed, and $10999 installed. Most of what I was quoted was for the Universal 1 strip flooring. Some of these are from the same company just different locations. I understand cos they are franchised thsi sort of thing can happen but I was just shocked there can be such a HUGE difference, ANYWAYS reason for my post............................ Has anybody used either the Universal Flooring, Readyfloor, or Premium Floors. Can anybody reccommend what the better of the three would be.??? and why??? Thanks in advance Living in Caloundra Thread****** Lovin my house all finished!!! Now tackling the HUGE task of the Garden- viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14782 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 16212 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6302 2 5494 |
