But it's good where there's lotsa water! I just had a look at my tank - DH put 15mm ply under - it isn't marine grade, but I'm not sure what sort it is. Mine's only been in place for about 8 months but there hasn't been any ill-effects from water (and I'm not exactly careful with water changes). Before we moved here I had my tank & stand straight onto 300mm square floor tiles on slab with no dramas.
