I start to browse around for timber flooring and found that this so called german technology laminate timber come at an attractive prices($12 - 14 per sqm). But now wonder whether the quality and durability will be as any other laminate timber floor sold at $30 - 35 per sqm. It is not an extensively used area. Or better not to bother with laminate at all? You can use Laminates…..just not the really cheap ones. Even though we used the underlay recommended by the installer, it still makes a hollow 'clip clop' noise as you walk over it. Another issue I have is that there seems to be high spots where I can feel the floor give under me as I walk on it. But then again, it could be my imagination, as my wife keeps telling me!
