Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Mar 19, 2009 9:39 am Hi All.
We are having vertical bamboo layed in the reno and have been getting laying advice from all quarters. Its going down onto existing floor boards... Diagonally... One supplier says 'Float it' by gluing the tounge and grooves together. Another says 'Glue it to the existing floor'. And the builder says 'Glue AND Secret nail.... Then she wont be goin' anywhere!' The current floor is on joists so moisture should not be a prob. What should we do? Thanks, Tim. Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6351 brokers will also be in a position to get you a better rate than the advertised rate most times. 6 7575 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7272 |
