Hi Guys
In our current (soon to be sold) townhouse we have some pretty ordinary carpet, I would say it is nylon, looks like a loop pile and it is a cream colour.
We have it on the stairs and in all 3 bedrooms upstairs.
We got it steamcleaned today and it has come up pretty good, although a few stains remain.
2 are cordial stains - one bright orange and one bright green - the guy said he could try spot treatment, although didn't have time today but could come back....anyone had this done on bad stains? Was it worth it?
The other stain was found once we moved Kobe's cot out of our room and there was a rather large bleach stain under it We have no idea how it got there, the guy said there was nothing he could do for that. It is right in our master bedroom, with no way of putting anything over it to cover it as it is in a weird location. Is there any way we could add a colour dye to it to make it look less noticeable?
I'm starting to think it might be worth ripping up the carpet and laying down some cheap stuff just to help with the sale...what do people think? Would this be worth it? Is this likely to put people off buying the house?
Love some input
