Re: Hoover Floormate - anyone tried it? 3Feb 18, 2009 1:16 pm I have one of these (infact my 2nd one) and I think for tiled area's it is wonderful!! I used the first one on my last house that had white tiles with white grout and after the 2yrs of living in it the tiles still looked like new! I have tiling here (12mth old house) and the same thing - the grout looks like new as the brushes scrub the grout on the floor.
I have found a steam mop more effective for sticky things, as the heat melts the grot, but the floor mate better for every day dirt. I use it almost daily as my 2yo son is a very messy eater! Highly recommend it. I just wish it did carpets too! Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you.
