- * It may cost more, but would it better to use the same tiler who did the wet areas on the rest of the house? That way the quality and type of work done should be the same.
* Is there a way to ensure that the level of the tiles in the wet areas matches the rest of the living areas? For example, our living areas are adjacent to both a laundry and powder room. We'd prefer not to have a height difference (and hence something to trip over) between the rooms.
* What are people's opinions on using the same floor tile throughout the house? We'll most probably go for a larger tile, and we're unsure how this will look in the bathrooms.
* With the skirting board already in place, what should we request from the tiler to get the best result?
* For anyone with undertile heating, does this greatly effect the height of the tiles above the slab and hence do we need to modify kitchen kickboards, vanities, doors, etc to suit?
Thanks in advance.
