Some pieces are really interesting. I'm very excited about the floor but will be more excited once we have windows and doors. Select grade timber not from Boral or the like but from a proper timber flooring company. We deliberately did not want the timber sourced from Boral etc. Finish on the floor is a satin finish. BTW, it looks like this is some kind of modified oil finish. Or perhaps even tung oil. Who knows ... It does look rich, so I doubt it's a water based finish. I hope it's not polyurethane!
