Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Ceramica Vinyl Floor Tiles 23Sep 03, 2009 12:07 am Seeing that our tiles were finished being laid today, l thought l'd update this thread ...Even months later after l originally started this thread, there is still not much to be found on the web regarding these tiles I hope my contribution might help others a bit The only prep the floor guy did to the slab was to run one of those round whirly sander thingies (like the concreters use) I think to lift off the dirt, plaster and paint more than anything. A thorough sweep was done and away he went I can vouch that these tiles are much warmer underfoot.....it's not warm per se but it's comfortable and you certainly don't get that immediate cold chill run up your feet and through your body like the ceramic tiles do.
