That is so refreshing to see.
A good quality carpet deserves to be installed well. It helps the wear and maintenance. Keep up the good work. cheers Col Nation For information on caring for wool and other carpet and upholstery go to www.woolsafe.com.au Re: Carpet For Joles.. cav brem woo ! 6Jan 12, 2009 10:48 pm joles Thanks Steve for thinking of me! It looks great. That may well be a colour that suits Southies. no worries petal Gorgeous carpet! Have to say, I'm certainly loving my Cavalier Bremworth yeah i bet you are, i have not met anyone that isint happy with it! the cav brem rep was telling me that they have their own sheep in nz, they keep all the good wool and sell off the unwanted stuff ! Don't know about that Jo.......my monitor shows a yellowy carpet ? It doesn't look grey or brown. But thanks for thinking of me Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Carpet For Joles.. cav brem woo ! 8Jan 13, 2009 8:10 am Southies mine is a brown-y colour, but has a lot of flecks, and "depth" to it - it's really beautiful, and we have had a LOT of comments onit. It's Cav Brem "Tarascan" and the colour is "Sonora" ....not cheap, but , as our carpet layer (who said don't bother laying carpet without the stretcher - a big one and a little one ) told us, we'll be hard pressed to wear it out, even with 4 kids!!!! It's sooooooo divinely soft to walk on, too! Solidarity, not solidity.......The Lexicon of Life Re: Carpet For Joles.. cav brem woo ! 9Jan 13, 2009 8:40 am Sounds the ticket then, Petal ! Will file that with my other info.
Did Jo select Cobble Lane ? so yours is different then Petal ? Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Carpet For Joles.. cav brem woo ! 10Jan 13, 2009 8:56 am Can't remember what her selection was called (and I was with her when she chose it!!!!!!!!!!! ) It's absolutely gorgeous - I LOVE the colour she's going with!!! Yes, mine is a different 'model', but a quite similar style. It doesn't look yellow on my screen Southies, it looks browny/beige..... **wishes monitor fairy would come and set my colours correctly** I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. It's sooooooo divinely soft to walk on, too! tarascan is awesome ! You will be doing well to wear it out, if you do it wont be for a long time ! No its not cheap, say its twice the price of cheap carpet. cheap carpet will be doing well to get 7 - 10 years. tarascan will get you a good 25 if looked after. So it might be twice the price of a cheap carpet, but will last alot more than twice the life of the cheap carpet. saving you money really ! Southies its definatley a brown, i will get some better pics of it tomorow. And ill get the color name for you. what color does the second last picture look on your screen ? that picture is better than the others.. There are a few lovely homes on the Sunny Coast with this carpet that I have worked on. Like any carpet, it does need cleaning from time to time to keep it looking it's best. With the right care you will get many years of good service from this carpet. cheers Col Nation For information on caring for wool and other carpet and upholstery go to www.woolsafe.com.au Re: Carpet For Joles.. cav brem woo ! 17Jan 16, 2009 11:12 am steveo247 tarascan is awesome ! Good to hear some more positive reinforcement - and from someoene who knows, too! Have to say, I've been surprised at the number of comments on the carpets - it's something you could just take for granted and not really notice, but everyone who's come over has loved it (I guess we have quite a lot, so it's hard to miss!! ) Well worth the investment, I think!
