So far, I cannot find pre-finished engineered strip flooring that is either: - milled from recycled timber - plantation pine (stainable to a darker hue) - or a plantation hardwood such as Sydney Blue Gum if the origin is verifiable as sustainable. I'd rather not have to go with bamboo as I find it resembles laminate more than natural timber.
