Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with boardwalk floating floors. They are like a floating floor but are sanded and polished after installation. I am thinking of going with this flooring for our new house but just wondering if anyone has any experience with it or know someone that has. I have decided to go ahead with the boardwalk, although never got any feedback about it, I have heard so many bad stories about all the other types of floating floors decided why not give it a go. Have only had the check measure done but are probably not ready to get it laid until end of March. I am getting the Karri, which from memory is about $115sqm. Am going through Completely Floored, they have it displayed in larger pieces where as the dulux stores only have a few samples of each colour. I am getting my skirtingboards undercut as they are already installed and don't want to pull them off and I prefer that look instead of the quad. It looks impressive so fingers crossed it will be ok. I just like the fact that it sanded and polished once its down, to me it seemed like a good cross between solid boards and floating floors. Time will tell. 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer.
