Hybrid vs Carpet for upstairs

Hello

We are in final stages of signing contract for a two story house in inner north Brisbane , just having hard time deciding flooring for upstairs bedrooms whether to go hybrid flooring or carpets . We have decided to go with tiles downstairs and hybrid on open area upstairs for easy cleaning since we have young kids

Me and wife like the feel of carpet in bedroom however we are currently struggling to keep it clean in our current place specially this bloody playdough everywhere

We don't have experience with hybrid flooring , just want to know how it feels under foot in cold months and also is it noisy ? wife is really light sleeper and if its noisy when walking then its a deal breaker

Hybrid is expensive than carpet , however happy spend a bit if it makes our life easy , and this is our long term home
