Miners Cottage floorboards

Hi All

New to the forum and looking for some advice, has anyone else renovated an old miners cottage in or around Ballarat and been able to identify the flooring?

We think it may be some kind of Ironbark (due to where we are and the likely use of wood at the time) however upon sanding back a lot it almost appears blonde but has lacquered with more of a brown finish.

Any info appreciated.
