Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 24, 2023 1:34 pm Newbie question for flooring options. We are thinking of changing the flooring for bedrooms and passage area. Last time we looked at flooring options was almost 8years back. Laminate, timber, tiles were the main options Hybrid flooring was not an option at that time. Last time we had used laminate flooring and had no issues with it at all. Went to local carpet court shop, sales person was highly praising Hybrid flooring. Are Hybrid flooring good options, what should we be looking at while considering hybrid flooring. He mentioned that hybrid floor could be glued or left as floating. They had lot of options and sales person was mentioning about different material being used in manufacturing process. He also mentioned carpet court had some bulk buy options which they buy in huge quantities hence have discounts on them. No sure if this was sales pitch or not. Seems like install cost is similar to for both laminate and hybrid. Would love to hear some feedback.
