I hope I am not to late to respond to your post. I to went around and around in the floating/ engineered floor Market. Lucky for me I decided against the Elysium flooring due to the pink tinge. I also read somewhere that the boards often warp over time I ended up going with Readyflor and I love it - looks wonderful and feels wonderful. Additionally it feels really solid and "sounds" great when walked on. most people think it's a solid floor. ReadyFlor also has a 25year guarentee I initially wanted blackbutt, but finally decided on Oak as it was lighter in colour. The only downside with the Oak is it's soft so high heels leave little dents in it.
