Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Oct 13, 2008 12:31 pm Hi All,
We are looking to install ~100m2 of solid timber flooring in our new place (probably 130x19 spotted gum). Reading the horror stories on these forums makes me a little nervous, so thought I would ask if anyone have some names of reliable/good quality installers that I can contact? Thanks! Re: Timber flooring installers Melbourne 4Oct 15, 2008 8:00 pm MYM have a huge 2 story showroom with lots of flooring varieties all layed and polished so you can walk over them and compare all the different types available. I'm not sure of any similar places to view flooring in the eastern suburbs but MYM may be well worth the drive to view there showroom whether you buy from them or not. Here is there website so you can get an idea of what they have to offer

He does install only, so this would be a path to go down if you are going to organise timber supply and polishing yourself. Can't recommend our sand & polish people - really unhappy with their finish quality. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15924 Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8996 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6211 |
