Wasn't sure if just sanding + applying water based coating was enough. This is on cypress with an oil based sealer. Using a loba sesler will give even better finish almost like raw sanded timber. Very good feel underfoot. My flooring guy recommended it over Bona. I’ve come across something like this watching YouTube as I was interested to see how the brownish timber floor is sanded and stained to change its colour. I’m actually deciding between this approach and laminate flooring with similar colour at the moment but mainly due to its durability.
