Flooring & Floor Covering
Sep 18, 2020 1:48 pm
I have some water-damaged bamboo flooring (from a leaking shower), and need to get it replaced. (Leak has been sorted, so it's safe to do this part now.)
It's not a particularly big job (part of a bedroom), but I do need to get it done, so I'm looking for recommendations. I am very happy with the original job (it's proper 15mm or whatever bamboo boards, not floating floor), but the bloke who did it (Lifestyle Flooring - Robert Gleeson) isn't in the game any more, so if you know someone decent, please let me know. I'm in Collingwood.
(Apologies if I picked the wrong sub-forum to post this in, being as it's repairs.)

Also, when in roof space. Make sure you are walking on ceiling joists or you'll fall through the plaster. You can also look at other components/members that are hold up…

Sounds to me you’re going to have to wear it unfortunately. 14 years ago would be the time to ask for engineering plans and permits. Could you try your home insurance?…
