I even helped install windows which is great, being involved that is. Main reason for my post however is that I FINALLY get my floor poured on monday, I'll post some pics soon at the moment its set up with the reo and underfloor heating coils. Feeling very green eyed here. I suspect it would have been comparable to our top of the range cork or an high end wood floor. it's not the cheap, nasty flooring choice but it's certainly a good choice for a long lasting flooring and not ridiculous in price.. We did consider it but my damaged knees meant in the end we didn't pick it but otherwise it certainly would have been my first preference. Your looking at about $100+ sqm - depending on colour, finish etc And we only did it in the living areas, kitchen, dining, WIP and linen.... bedrooms and media room is carpet. Have a look at my blog... there is details photos etc... Our parents thought we were mad when we told them..... They have since been "CONVERTED" - With no grout to clean, how much warmer it is to walk on than I thought, and the fact it doesnt have to be sealed we are very happy... That was $100m2 +, I have heard of between $100 - $150m2, too be fair to the professionals doing it, I would think there would be too many variables to quote a $m2 if its site unseen. A Husky single phase grinder/vacuum setup is about $30k, you have to pay for that somehow! A Husky single phase grinder/vacuum setup is about $30k, you have to pay for that somehow! I got 3 quotes to do the job.. 95sqm inside and 25sq outside. They all came back at around $11k. I am sure that the price would change up and down depending on the site conditions.
