I'm am looking at applying diamite + rokite in the garage. Its aparently is a pentrating type concrete hardener and sealer respectively. Might be overkill but like the idea of toughening up the concrete surface by filling pores as opposed to coating it (I'm a grease monkey who likes to weld, hammer, drag engines across my floor). Re: Garage floor covering 15Dec 08, 2011 8:05 pm Any form of densifying the concrete will make it harder. Less subject to 'damage'... though fillers are not normally considered densifying. Protect Crete's proudcts use a Slightly different chemical as its a Collodial Silicate as opposed to the cheaper Sodium or Lithium densifiers. All Depends on your Budget, I always purchase the best I can afford & overkill has mostly worked for me...
